 We had a substitute today. I went to Ms. Jackson’s to catch up on missings.

 Today we went over how to plan and start an argumentative essay. It was pretty good and informative.

 This was our last day to complete our PowerPoint presentation so we uploaded our second article. We split up the last slides to do at home at uploaded it.

 We continued working on the project and uploaded one of our articles in the source folder.

 We started learning about the project we were going to do. Our groups were generated. We started working. That was pretty cool.

 Today we talked about certainty and doubt. I liked this activity because it was pretty easy. It also helps us with making claims and making it stand strong.

 We discussed questions out of this book. I really liked this activity because it got the whole class thinking about hard decisions.

 Today we did the rhetorical analysis essay. I spent to much time on brainstorming. I got my introduction and 1st body paragraph done. My second body paragraph wasn’t finished but I think I did pretty well sense it’s not graded by completion.

 Tuesday we reviewed for the rhetorical analysis essay that we are going to take on Wednesday. I like this because it helps me prepare for the exam.

 Since you were absent we basically didn’t do anything today.
